Ausca MCP Server

com.ausca/agent-services

Pay-per-call APIs for agents: document OCR, analysis, transcription, browser sessions, and email inboxes. No accounts or keys.

What is the Ausca MCP server?

Ausca is an MCP server providing pay-per-call infrastructure services for AI agents, including document OCR, document analysis, media transcription, remote browser sessions, and agent email inboxes. Payments are made in USDC on Base with a signed receipt for every completed invocation, requiring no account setup or API keys.

Ausca offers a catalog of agent-ready services priced per invocation, from $0.05 to $1.30 depending on the service. Agents set a hard USD cap per call, and the server handles payment signing and settlement verification. Services include extracting text and structure from documents, transcribing media, controlling remote browsers via CDP, and managing receive-only email inboxes for agents.

Tools & capabilities

Tools this server exposes to the agent.

  • document-ocr — Extract normalized text with line confidence from documents
  • document-analysis — Extract normalized forms, tables, signatures, and layout information from documents
  • media-transcription — Generate normalized transcripts from audio or video files
  • browser-session — Remote browser with standard Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) access
  • agent-inbox — Renewable receive-only email address owned by the agent
  • inbox-extension — Add time to an active agent inbox without changing its address

Use cases

  • Extract text and structured data from scanned documents or PDFs for document processing workflows
  • Transcribe audio or video recordings into searchable text for media analysis
  • Control a remote browser to automate web interactions and data collection
  • Receive emails at a dedicated agent inbox for notification-driven workflows
  • Analyze document layouts, forms, and signatures for compliance or data extraction tasks
  • Set up time-limited browser sessions for web scraping or testing within a hard cost cap

Ausca MCP server FAQ

What is Ausca?

Ausca is a pay-per-call service platform for AI agents offering document OCR, document analysis, media transcription, remote browser sessions, and email inboxes. Each call costs between $0.05 and $1.30 depending on the service, with USDC payments on Base and signed receipts for every invocation.

Do I need an account or API key?

No. Ausca requires no account creation or API keys. You only need a private key for signing payments and set a hard USD cap per call.

How do I install Ausca in Claude or Cursor?

Add the Ausca MCP server to your Claude Desktop or Cursor configuration by setting the command to `npx -y ausca mcp` with environment variables `AUSCA_PRIVATE_KEY` and `AUSCA_MAX_PAYMENT_USD`.

How does payment work?

Agents send a request, receive a payment requirement, and if it fits their cap, sign and pay in USDC on Base. Every completed invocation includes a signed receipt with a public verification page.

Is Ausca free to use?

No, Ausca is pay-per-call. Prices range from $0.05 per hour for an agent inbox to $1.30 for large media transcription, with a hard cap you set per invocation.

What languages and frameworks are supported?

Ausca provides TypeScript/JavaScript (npm), Python (PyPI), and CLI interfaces, plus integrations with Vercel AI SDK and LangChain.

Agents buy infrastructure the way they call tools: send the request, pay the 402 challenge within a hard USD cap you set, read the result and its settlement proof. The catalog, prices, and schemas are immutable and public at ausca.com/catalog.json; the full agent contract is ausca.com/SKILL.md.

A remote MCP server also runs at https://ausca.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP) for discovery, preparation, and state reads; payment always signs on your side, which is why the local server exists.

How payment works

Every service is an x402 v2 payable resource. An unsigned request returns the exact payment requirement; the client pays it only if it fits your cap, then retries the same bytes with the same idempotency key. Save a unique key before paying and retain it on uncertainty; starting another call with a new key is a new purchase. CLI and paid MCP calls require an explicit key. Resource admission contains private capabilities: never publish the raw result. See recovery examples. Settlement is USDC on Base and every completed invocation carries a receipt with a public, hash-only verification page. Payment rails are pluggable behind one interface; the official @x402/* libraries do all signing.

Optional source/campaign attribution is reporting metadata only and is excluded from pricing, payment, execution, and recovery identity. Caller labels are self-reported.

Document and media services take an immutable artifact commitment instead of raw bytes: npx ausca commit file.pdf uploads through the keyless ingress and returns the commitment the offer input carries.
