What is bureau?
Bureau captures AI sessions into append-only logbooks, compiles them into a consistency-checked knowledge base (cabinets) with human review gates, and renders them as a navigable offline gazette. Use it to build a canonical, auditable record of decisions and claims with dependency tracking and deterministic rebuilds.
- Capture sessions to append-only logbooks and compile into consistency-checked knowledge base (cabinets)
- Typed review queue (gazette review) with approve/reapprove/confirm/resolve/repair actions, supporting batch commits
- Record architecture decisions as MADR ADR pages with typed supersedes edges and content-bound approval gates
- Delegate review queue to Codex as a machine authority representative with optional trust_policy integration
- Track claim-level dependencies via rests_on and author-anchored spans with early-cutoff gates for upstream changes
- Live Engine view showing dependency freshness, artifact currency, and convergence trends during editing
