policy-lookup FAQ

What if I don't have a knowledge base connected?

The skill works standalone—paste your employee handbook or policy documents directly, and it will search and explain them.

Can it tell me my personal PTO balance?

Only if you connect an HRIS system. Otherwise, it explains the PTO policy and rules; you'll need to check your balance separately.

What if a policy isn't documented?

The skill will say so clearly rather than guessing. It recommends contacting HR or the relevant team for undocumented situations.

Does it handle legal or compliance questions?

For legal or compliance matters, the skill recommends consulting HR or legal directly rather than relying solely on handbook text.
