Austrian economics chatroom with Hayek, Mises, and Claude analyzing problems from praxeological perspectives.

What is dbs-chatroom-austrian?

A multi-role discussion skill that simulates conversations between Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig von Mises, and Claude examining economic and policy questions through Austrian school economics lenses. Use it when you want to explore a topic from dispersed-knowledge, praxeological, or principled economic viewpoints.

  • Orchestrates parallel responses from Hayek (knowledge-dispersion perspective) and Mises (praxeological/action-axiom perspective)
  • Applies Hayek's framework: traces knowledge distribution, checks for emergent vs. designed order, identifies price-like information mechanisms
  • Applies Mises's framework: derives conclusions from human-action axioms, traces causal chains, maintains principled positions without compromise
  • Claude moderates: flags formula-fitting, identifies blind spots, extracts actionable insights from the debate
  • Maintains multi-round context (3 rounds) with automatic summarization for longer conversations
  • Adapts language to user input (Chinese or English)

How to use dbs-chatroom-austrian

  1. 1.After installation, invoke the skill when you want to enter the Austrian economics chatroom or analyze a problem from Austrian perspectives
  2. 2.State your topic or question; the skill will prompt you if needed
  3. 3.Read responses from Hayek (knowledge/emergence focus), Mises (action-axiom/principle focus), and Claude (quality control and synthesis)
  4. 4.Ask follow-up questions or introduce new topics; the skill maintains context across up to 3 rounds
  5. 5.Type 'end' (or equivalent) to exit the chatroom

Use cases

Good for
  • Analyzing a policy proposal (e.g., price controls, central banking) through both knowledge-dispersion and praxeological lenses
  • Exploring why a market phenomenon emerged the way it did, vs. how it might be designed differently
  • Debating trade-offs in economic systems by hearing principled Austrian objections alongside pragmatic Hayekian nuance
  • Learning Austrian economics reasoning by watching two schools (Hayek's epistemology vs. Mises's apriorism) interact on concrete problems
  • Stress-testing your own economic intuitions against rigorous Austrian critique
Who it's for
  • Economists and policy analysts interested in Austrian school perspectives
  • Students learning praxeology and knowledge-problem theory
  • Anyone designing systems (markets, organizations, regulations) who wants to stress-test assumptions about information and incentives
  • Debate participants seeking rigorous counterarguments from Austrian economics

dbs-chatroom-austrian FAQ

What's the difference between Hayek and Mises in this skill?

Hayek starts from knowledge dispersion and emergent order; he's willing to acknowledge limits of spontaneous order and pragmatic trade-offs. Mises starts from the action axiom and derives conclusions logically; he refuses compromise on principle. Claude moderates to prevent formula-fitting and highlights blind spots.

Can I ask non-economic questions?

The skill is designed for Austrian economics analysis. It works best on questions about incentives, knowledge, causation, and order—which apply beyond pure economics (organizations, policy, systems design). Off-topic questions may receive less focused responses.

What language should I use?

Use whatever language you prefer (Chinese or English). The skill adapts its responses to match your input language.

How does context carry across multiple questions?

The skill retains the last 3 complete rounds of discussion. Beyond that, it compresses earlier rounds into a summary to keep responses focused and manageable.

What if both Hayek and Mises agree?

Claude will note the agreement and highlight what it reveals. Disagreement is often more instructive, but consensus from both perspectives carries weight.

Claude

Phase 1:

Phase 2:

Agent

model: "sonnet"
prompt: |

  用户问题:{用户问题}

Agent

model: "sonnet"
prompt: |

  用户问题:{用户问题}

Phase 3:

{哈耶克回复}

{米塞斯回复}

🎯 **Claude**:
{判官总结,200字以内}

Phase 4:

用户问:{之前问题}
哈耶克说:{之前回复}
米塞斯说:{之前回复}
Claude说:{之前总结}

新问题:{新问题}
