aso-audit FAQ

What's the difference between aso-audit and keyword-research?

aso-audit performs a comprehensive health check across all listing elements and identifies keyword ranking gaps. keyword-research does a deep dive into keyword opportunities, search volume, and competition for specific keywords you want to target.

Can I use this for both iOS and Android?

Yes. You can audit both platforms in a single session, or specify one platform. The scoring framework adjusts weights slightly (e.g., Subtitle is iOS-only, Description weight is higher on Android).

What if I don't have access to Appeeky API?

The skill will ask you to provide your current metadata (title, subtitle, keywords, description, screenshots, ratings). You can still get a full audit and action plan without live API data.

How often should I run an ASO audit?

Run a full audit quarterly or before major updates. Run quick spot-checks monthly to track progress on implemented changes.

What's the difference between Quick Wins and High-Impact Changes?

Quick Wins are changes you can make today with minimal effort (e.g., rewriting title, updating keyword field). High-Impact Changes require more work (e.g., redesigning screenshots, gathering more reviews) but have significant ranking impact.
